Are canaries or zebra finches a good pet to have?

I have always kept budgies. Can canaries and zebra finches be tamed. Do they notice you when you talk to them?

Canaries are not particularly social birds. They usually only get together in the wild to mate. Because of this trait, it is unlikely that an owner will be able to “tame” the bird to sit on a finger or to really bond with the bird. If an owner wants a nice pet bird that doesn’t require much attention, canaries are good candidates. However, the trade-off is that the owner will probably not have the bird for a companion, unlike members of the social parrot family, who depend on their human owners for love and companionship.Canaries do well in a household of working people, since they do not require a great deal of interaction. Again, because of their solitary natures, canaries are happy being “only birds.” Some finches, such as society or zebra finches, prefer being in flocks, but not canaries.. Finches… These little birds thrive in small flocks, and generally pay little attention to humans — making them perfect pets for those who love to watch birds, but would like a pet that requires minimal interaction. A well cared for Finch or Canary can live for up to 10 years.

I have a light green bathroom and I want to use black and white. I bought a zebra rug but can not decide on towels, accessories, etc. I thought about a Zebra Print Valance, Should I use white towels or white towels.What kind or art work goes with the zebra theme?

Use both black & white towels. Arrange two bath towels on the towel rack, one black, one white. Arrange two hand towels on top of these;
the white on top of the black & vice versa. Get the valance. That would look great!
